Stone Wall

Here is what I'm working on at the moment. This is in my own dining area. I had some remolding done on my house this summer, which removed a double window on this wall. No furniture will go here for lack of room, except an extra chair or two set in the corners.
I plan on a stone walkway out to a garden. With some Ivy growing in and over edges of arch way. I will be adding depth to the stone wall inside the arch. Still working that out right now.

Nice going on the stone wall Anita; it is looking good. Looking forward to seeing the garden.

Well my garden will lead to the stair landing, for the river dock.....lol We live on this river,(mississippi) a couple blocks away anyway. I'll add some other local stuff like a grain barge and birds. The tree will be a white oak, also local and our state tree.

Looks like it is coming together well. I've seen that bend in that river many times before and more of the Ohio. Once lost a pair of glasses over the side in Cario where the mighty Mississippi and Ohio rivers meet. Coast Guard in "71" if I remember right.

Any who I see you are nicely located above the river which is a good thing. Now 1995/date of new home?

This is going to look really nice.
