pottery jug just a quick study but...

It's funny when you're not trying to do anything that looks halfway good when you're just kinda mindless sketching.
But sometimes you get something pleasing to the eye I think I've done that here?!
Anyway I like it and just on a piece of test paper cool plus I've never done a still life! I can't stop with the landscapes I love em!!

There is something wonderful about the tactical feeling of a pencil or crayon being dragged across a receptive surface!

I think you are onto something....still life? I'm assuming you were painting from life and I hope you'll try another one. Some of the same principles apply to landscape and still life.
