Tres Viejo Amigos (Three Old Friends) xpost: animals thread

My latest effort, originally posted on the animals thread and the southwestern art thread. Thought I would post it here also since it is acrylic. It's the largest and perhaps the most ambitious painting I've done to date. I really enjoyed this and am pretty happy with the outcome. (as happy as painters can be knowing that we are never quite happy with the outcome )

22" x 28" acrylic on canvas board. Done entirely with FolkArt craft paint. Hasn't been varnished yet.

Please C & C are always welcome.

It appears to be beautifully executed.

Thank you all for the very nice comments. But don't be afraid to be critical. It's how we improve. For instance I'm not sure I'm fully happy with the whiskers, especially on the two horses on the left. Yes? No?

Its a great painting, but seeing as you are seeking critical comments, may I say that the image looks cropped, like a photograph. All three heads should have been complete, but hey, I repeat, wonderful job.

Excellent.
I like FolkArt paint. They have a good range of colours.
