Re: Blizzard whiteout

Makes me think of a storm in Chicago awhile back. Very effective work here.

This is really cool! Actually, really cold.

How did you do this with acrylics and pencil? (sorry, I'm a newbie!)

Well, actually I'm a newbie myself so, I don't know what has been tried before.
I only needed the colored pencil for the lines of the car windows. I chose a purple pencil, not too black and
not too hard. Works well I think, but what do I know.

I always think, 'what would Van Gogh have thought.'

Re: Blizzard whiteout

Thank you all for responding.

I have worked outside in winter in all kinds of weather when I was much younger.

Makes you respect the natural elements.

Ah, I see. You know, your painting is making me dread the winter. They say it's going to be a tough one again. Can't wait.
