Heavy Body or Fluid

Just wondering between heavy bodied and fluid acrylics, what people like and why about them. Also, with all the mediums available, each tend to have their own benefits for mixing and manipulating.

I mostly use Golden heavy body and a few Liquitex heavy body paints. I just recently picked up a bottle of Golden titanium white fluid and really like it so far. Haven't tried it yet on canvas, but it seems to work great on smooth sufaces such as masonite. Also, because it can easily be dispensed drop at a time, I would think think it would be great for mixing up without needing a bunch of different blobs out on the palette. I've also found I love it for when I just need to add a little bit of something to a mix. I can just add a drop while I'm mixing without having to put out a blob then wipe the palette knife then pick it up and mix it.

I don't use the heavy body paints only the fluid acrylics. I really like them, they don't dry out quite so fast & I find them easier to use. Of course it's harder to get that "oil" paint, thicker look, but for me they are great.

Heavy Body here as it suits the way I like to work. For a more wash effect or controled application I combine it with Flow Enhancer.
