Re: Wet Road Home 140330

You're part of me, apart from me.
You messed it up friend,
You struck the street
You're off your feet
Strayed above the highway aisle
Automatic bought the years you'd talk for me
That night you played me Lip Parade
Saying nothing, that's enough for me
Hulled far from the highway aisle now
I now look for miles and miles and miles
I clutch the light, the hallow bright
Above my brother and you, my special friend.

I should probably state that these words were taken from the following lyrics:

I think you either love this music or you hate it.

You know I never thought I would like seeing utility poles in a painting but yours seem like anchors holding a good tension with all the wildness. Do you like Cezanne? He's one of my favorites and I think he creates some of the very best trees - so solidly weighted and perfectly grounded right into the earth.

Of course, I could post more of him forever and I hope that its okay that I posted these in your thread?
Not bad though, that I went and looked at Cezanne after looking at your work...something here sparked that....

Ishka - Thanks for the nice comment, glad you could associate that nice music and that video with the painting. Very insightful of you, as per usual, and appreciated.

Hey Olive Oyl - Any association with Cezanne, however remote, that occurred to you is really something unexpected; as you say, not bad, and thanks for the thought.

The Cezannes are great and thanks for the interest in posting them, they are very welcome.

Regards,
Trier
