Barb, I love this! Beautifully rendered, but also loose and painterly.

Re: Dog in pastel

Message passed and received, Barb. The cats are curious - is the dog a friend of the ferrets? We're trying to be more open, here. Jean-Pierre came across an article in a pet supplies newsletter called "Lizards: The New Dogs," and they've been lobbying, all of them, for a nice little lizard. Baby steps....

Re: Dog in pastel

Leslie, no, Cleo and Chaos are only ferrets. They wanted to wish Jean-Pierre luck! The ferret rules say they must be mean and vicious and standoffish but they also have been lobbying the all powerful ferret council to change the rules. Rumor has it the new rules are up for a vote. Wish us luck. But then Cleo said *&^&(#$ to the rules long ago. She's daddies little fuzzball.

Re: Dog in pastel

Jean-Pierre would like to offer his services re: the Ferret Council and the new rules. He has some excellent connections within Amnesty International, who move in interesting and unusual circles. Let us know if he can help!
