Well in my humble opinion it is a challenging abstract composition
I always like it when I see painters stretching the boundries
(if their are any) a little,so I like this.I feel I'm stepping into
a strange world through your eyes. The only thing that troubles
me a bit is the foreground pink in the shallow waters.I know
that can happen especially in thr tropics as I am there myself.
Did you intend that just to bring the foreground forward?
All in all its a painting I like and hope to see more of your work!
Frank~

Hi -
I think the horizont seems not parallel and
Im used to see the horizont a little like a mirror - how do you see it ?

There's a good expressionistic, slightly mysterious feel to this. I love the minimalism. The rounded horizon works for me in a painting like this because it emphasizes the distance. It's my goal to eventually be able to paint what the landscape feels like rather than what it looks like; you're farther along that path than I am.

Thanks

Xavier..thank you .....we get the Gulf Stream here and it brings colour to our shores in the form of algae like the pink in the painting, not very often I grant you, but it does happen, glad you liked it

Egon..I agree the horizon is not parallel it was not meant to be, or it would be, thank you, for viewing

Nican..I love to paint emptyness now and then, thanks
