Kaunakakai Wharf
The Kaunakakai wharf is the place where we get goods shipped in and out of our island. The wharf also allows for some fishing and pleasure boats to tie up. Notice in the background the island of Lanai. This painting is a 9x12" oil on canvas. Yax

I love the colors. They are very realistic. I recently move to HI. I'm in Honolulu. What island are you on? I am so itching to go take some photos to paint from.

this is just another good piece. i've just returned home after seeing so much marine art in galleries along the east coast. it's pleasurable to view your local scene, plain and simple....., touched with the temperature and light of your islands !
