A Spider for breakfast

I'd like some help with this painting, is still on my board as I've been told it doesn't look finished.

for comparison 'n such - your image ... enhanced ... greyscale

it's watercolors, yes?

i'm not sure what the clutter bottom center is, craftable flowers i expect and it's excessive to me, or unfinished ... i'd color the white flowers, eg. below ... it's pretty, but yeah, a little wishy washy with room to push the shadows more ... worth working a bit more

Re: A Spider for breakfast

I agree with La! The centre flowers and leaves need as much colour and detail as the surrounding ones. Also some deeper shadows would give it more solidity. It's a lovely subject and scene, very nicely done and obviously you have spent a lot of time on this. A couple more hours or tweaks at least will see it much more finished. I really like it and would love to see it finished off that little bit more. Cheers. =)) Debs.
