Curves ~ WIP
just for the heck of it I'll post this as a WIP. I started this over a month ago and haven't been painting much. this is exactly where I am right now and it's been so long since I last painted that I really just wanted to kick myself in the b@tt to get painting. WIP threads always seem to make me paint with more concentration when I know my progress is being watched. lol
title: Curves (reference my own)
size: 19"x22.5"
300lb Arches cold pressed
M. Graham and Winsor Newton paints
thanks for peeking and as always, comments and critiques welcomed

Hi Em,
Nice to see a WIP from you again. I got here early enough to sit in the front row for a change.
The senuous curves are already looking quite beautiful. The heavy line across the top of the bottom leg seems a little too sharp and dark at this stage, but I'm sure you have something planned for that area.
Waiting for Char to get here with the cake and Lyn with the tea. I've brought my broom to sweep up when you're done and some napkins to catch the crumbs.

I'm here... blueberries are still in season (actually, last of the crop)... so I HAD to make a Blueberry Cream Cheese with Lemon Bundt cake... (anyone wanting this recipe can pm me)... it's to die for... and the blueberry colour seems appropriate... if that curvey model eats much of it, she won't look like this ^^^ for long...
So, Em... better not take your time...

thanks all!!
Sylvia....good eye....I do have more shadow planned for both legs and I am hoping that heavy line will blend more
aww Ruthie stop it. you're making me blush
hey Montana lady
Char are you trying to make me eat?!!! *in my best Homer Simpson voice* mmmmmmmmmm blueberry cream cheese with lemon bundt cake
Henry, I thought you might make it in here *we are both curvy admirers *
hi Jacqueline! thanks for stopping by
here is where I am now. the lower breast is not happening the way I want it to. wet in wet is tough stuff...especially when the phone rings!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I will have to build up some more washes there to create some sort of depth...it's looking a bit flat right now.
thanks !!

Hmmm!
Hi Em
Well I went off to your RF library searching everywhere for those curves or facsimile of and nowhere to be found.
Where are they? !!!
Actually interesting to see how shadowing is done. Never seen that before then again lots I haven't seen.

This is looking great. I look forward to watching. Do you mind stating which colors you have used in painting these shadows?

Seriously tho, thats hard for me by the way, any chance you can put in the paint color/ colors and mix ratio for us/we/me newer watercolor babies that don't know much about anything.
Looking good!!
