my conjecture is that this is the most inspired piece you have released.
the figure upper center could be part of self portrait
declaring unity
with all
the life of
the seething city.
nice one jackart

Thumbs up beautiful

hi! i really enjoy how the car emerges from the darkness at the bottom. i dont think its too dark at all. the only hesitation i have is on the reflection of the sky on the street. it looks river like to me even though my brain understands that its not. maybe its the wave like designs in one direction or the amount of light that is picked up by the sky. not sure. maybe i'm the only one that sees this also. it looks great as a whole.

I think the is the first time I've seen you do a landscape (cityscape). Already I'm a major fan of your portraits. This is cool too! Not too dark.. moody and mysterious. I like it very much!

Only nit is the sky threatens to make me insane.. haha.. but I think it's the digital image on my monitor. Kind of a psycho-eye-boggling thing going on over here. Or maybe it's me.

Keep going, Jack. I adore your work!

YES...works for me. Especially like the darkness around the cars. It might be nice to create a companion piece that was lighter, but would not recommend changing this one.

Ah, it WAS my monitor! Yesterday I was looking at this on my computer, and right now I'm looking at it on my TV screen. That sky has settled into a full, rich, textural feast on this screen. And knowing your work, I'm sure that's much closer to what the painting looks like.

I love it. I love everything you do.

I really hope someday you'll do a WIP for us. I'd love to see you work!

Helen
