Don't know how to add text. The palm fronds are 16x20 and the fence is 8x10 Both are acrylic on canvas. about 3 hours on the palm fronds. Had internet difficulties and camera issues so could not post that one at the two hour mark. The fence is two hours, or a bit less. Comments are welcome. I tried to turn the palm one, but failed. And to think, today they put a smartboard in my room at school. Talk about irony.. Comments are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Billy- Just hit the space bar after uploading and you can type. Didn't I just extensively critique these in an email? Glad you finally got the internet back up. Keep Molly (his pup) away from the cords!!!! And the phones...And....

Great starts on both. Think the palms is one of your best starts. Blah, blah what I said last night. The palms is esp. on it's way to being your best piece so far. You are way ahead of the curve for a new painter. ( Our little boy is growing up so fast. )

Keep it up!!!!

Love the fronds especially.
I got a smartboard in my room too;they're not so smart: still used my overhead projector more.

Love the colors you used for your palm fronds. Lovely job.

Agree with Robert a few horizontal breaks in the reflection would indicate water nicely.

I like the greenery in the first and those palm reflections are lovely.

As Li said above - type after uploading .......
OR..
type before uploading and make sure the cursor is on a fresh line before uploading the images.

Both are very nice paintings, especially like the shapes of your leaves and fronds. Great job on the reflections.
