Gold Coast

102cm x 76cm on stretched canvas.
The usual, taken from a photo and changed and added bits.

Re: Gold Coast

Thank you Colin, pretty colors give it that clean look.
Thank you Susan, I added those waves, it looked a little too peaceful.
Hi Kathie, blending the sky colors was a hassle, used a lot of dry brush technique. I seem to be doing that more and more lately.
Thanks Gayle, dip your toes in, very refreshing.
Thamk you Chammi, always an encouraging word, you're a delight.
Thanks Derek, it seems no matter what I do, I always come back to water.

Re: Gold Coast

You're full of surprises Paul!
This one is bigger than your usual and I bet it looks fantastic on the wall.
I agree with you about calm water needing jazzed up and you've made this so exciting to look at and very colourful.

Re: Gold Coast

Thanks Susan, oh wow is great.
Thanks bhavani, glad you like it.
Thanks George, a sight to be seen around the world, aren't we lucky!
Thank you Margaret, although I have done some smaller paintings lately this is the size I prefer normally. I've run out of wall space, better sell some soon.
Thank you Kathy, I was hooked on the glowing sky colors.
