Hi manedwolf , this painting is not a real Chinese traditional painting. It only looks like it
I did this just with colored pencils and transparent paper.
About Chinese traditional painting, we have 2 main types of special papers "sheng xuan" and "shu xuan". "Sheng xuan" absorbs the water, the other one not.
The brush is similar with western one, but has a tip. We use different quantity of water mixed with color to paint. A good painter can paint very fast.
Ah,yes, the colors r different as well, they r made by plants and mineral.
