Nope same problems happen in IE. Now I'll try the Opera browser.

Aha!!! A bit of progress. Now my name shows up a couple of lines below the message as it should. Think I'll keep using Opera for a while and see if I can somehow get the smilies working.

Becca, if you post too hastily after a message you want to quote, I think that's what causes the out-of-sequence posts to occur. It's confusing at times to try to follow the Rag when this happens.

Nancy-is WC using an old version of the forum software? I have been on a few forums over the years and never seen answers posted and shuffled around before the question was asked. Maybe having around 300,000 members slows down the response time?

Maybe that accounts for why I can't get the smilies to show. But then they wouldn't show for everyone,right?
