Rose Painting

This is my first painting in a number of years. It's a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. I used an image from the RIL by jade fox.
It's 20 x 24 on stretched canvas using Graham paints.
Thanks for looking, and all comments and suggestions are welcome.

Re: Rose Painting

What's not to love ..... I know I can see the stem , but I would suggest more of a value change on the lighter side to show the round form of it more so ... Just a small thing I'm seeing ....

Thanks pericusmaximus. The painting is 20" x 24" on stretched canvas. The picture is a little bit washed out. Thanks for looking.
