Fountain Pen Ink Lightfastness Test Results --- Noodlers Eternal line, plus more

I just photographed and posted all my lightfastness tests for the 32 Noodler's Eternal Inks, plus the pigmented and iron gall inks from Platinum, Sailor, R&K, and Diamine. I tested an an additional 45 or so too, bringing my total up to around 130 inks. You can read about the findings, see lists of the best performers, and look at the images yourself on the post. Here is a link for those who are interested.

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I'm a long way from wanting to put any of my drawings in a frame, but it is still nice to know what you are getting into when you pick materials.

This is my feeling as well. I'd rather have the information and know better how to use materials appropriately. I plan to continue using my favorite fountain pens and inks in my sketchbooks and for my daily writing. If I decide to use any for fine art (and I'm not sure I would), I'll know which ones to pick!
