Need Recommendations Please

i use fabriano accedemia with my coloured pencils (polychromos,pablo etc)
ps. i have never problems with my polychromso with any paper what i used.
and i use only handheld metal sharpers even my "studio" becouse others what i found are poor and i cannot get these more pricey soon even less soon becouse for example cran d'ache prices are rised much... only good with expection is one what i get about 1990-1993 in shool which goed bad i think 2008-2010 which is amazing result i know i dont use it much all years in beetween but some stuff is when i buy it directly poor and is actually so old one is form west germany. and polychromos have very nice range (same applies to my taste with pablo buth derwents not so much i like brights but lightfast hues i also like muted (and darks) hues but derwents has own problems even in them). i say this range thing becouse some users cannot afford maybe only one set...

I have an old battery operated Micronta pencil sharpener. My Dad got it for me years ago and it still works like a charm. Just this morning I finally pulled my thumb out and sharpened my Prismacolor pencils (all 150 of them). Only broke three leads of the whole lot, and one of those was most likely because I'd dropped it beforehand. I also really like the Polychromos pencils as they are harder than Prismacolor but still glide onto the paper smoothly.

I need to find a nice drawing paper to use, there don't seem to be many types available in Australia.

I noticed that Bleuie uses Koh-I-Noor. His work looks really detailed. I bought 2 woodless, but have yet to try them. They are half the price of the prismas. Any comments on those would be useful.

Faber castell hand crank for me...
Can't actually find a good cheap electric one here in NZ but would probably try one if I found one.

I like the shavings when I tip them out and often feel they should be used to something, maybe texture in a montage?

I use a really old Boston electric sharpener but I've had it for over 12 years and it's starting to eat my pencils so I'll need a new one soon and Boston doesn't exist anymore?
I also use prismacolor and love them. My work is pets, animals, wildlife and the prismacolor pencils work great for my style.

This is what I use for sharpening pencils. It is an antique probably, but my oh my, it works well! So if you see one in a garage sale or junk shop...snap it up.. using a lead pencil from time to time cleans and lubricates it.
