Exclamation Very roaring 20's!

sort of fun. Since you use photos, I sort of wonder if these are some nifty "French" post cards. The pose is very inviting and naughty.
Have you tried the local community college? I looked high and low for open studio settings and the Art museum had a Saturday semi-open studio... Someone who knew which end of the pencil to put to paper was available, but I was too defensive to pay any attention, and (luckily) good enough that she left me alone.
This is encouragement, because it is a good picture but and I admire you working with what you can find, I sat and did nothing until the situation suited me.
Can you tell I am the champion of the sketch group?

SanDL...your colors glow!! I too am curious about your medium..and your painting surface?

This almost looks like it was painted on silk..(?)

I like the peacefulness of her gesture/pose. Some nice geometry here.

Again, SanDL...VERY interesting use of color!

Thank you for posting.

Thanks to all for your kind comments

Hey dj! They are indeed french or european naughty pics from the twenties.

Jeanette and Michael : it's oil on canvas....I was experimenting with using stand oil as a substantial part of the painting medium, lots of thick glazing. The surface has held up quite well...I've watched it for 2 years now...and it better hold up because it just sold a couple a weeks ago!

Te Anne, thanks for the encouragement.

Gosh I love this site....I no longer feel quite so isolated.

Really nice colors.
