The Ground Shook like Thunder

Started another commission!

Yes, another car... The owner of this car bought a couple of prints off me and came to collect them in this beast. Its a Plymouth GTX hemi. 9.6Ltrs of V8 with about 800bhp!! Featured in a local magazine as one of the top V8's in NZ. When he reversed up my drive using the barest whisker of throttle the wheels spun like crazy!! I think its THE most powerful car ive ever seen!

so I had NO hesitation in agreeing a drawing... But its BLACK! and as we know black aint black!!

However, as usual I start with the wheels..

Re: The Ground Shook like Thunder

This is looking superb as all your pieces do, are you going to use the reflections to boost the idea its a shiny black or do your own vision?

More grillwork... and lights!
Each light takes about 15 minutes.. greys, magenta, sky blue and white as a blender. Pays not to look TOO close! heh.

Very, very eye catching. Will definitely be following this as I've just started a portrait of a German Shepherd dog who is sitting behind the wheel of a black Dodge pickup.

And vehicles are not my area of expertise.
