update on color question for stained glass painting

I've made her suit purple & tried to start on her hands. The black & white reference photo is kind of fuzzy - especially on the hands - so that part is going to be interesting to figure out. I'm going to be looking at my hands alot.

That's much better Tammy the robe is lovely rich colour now....good luck with the hands, I'm sure you'll do them well....and what better ref than your own

BTW, in case you didn't know you needn't have started a fresh thread, you could have added this to original, expecially as it's a WIP.

Oh!!! The robe is PERFECT!!! Like it very much!!! A suggestion I have is to give the face a few shadows for contrast...then the stain glass will look more delicate and the face will 'chime' with the robe and then you'll know how much light and dark to give the hands......and the shadows should give the face depth too. This is coming out great..keep us updated!!!
