Smile WDE-7-9-12 sketches=aspens 2 doors

Thanks Kay for the great references....

First some really fast sketches... 98grm sketchbook.... really felt the need to some basic sketching and these show that need....

Fall Aspens just plain cardboard, glued 2 together for extra strength.. 2 coats of gesso.24x 32 oils.. wet on wet
After 1/1/2 hrs and cleaning up the leaves that I didn't like, aren't those cleaning wipes great????? Chester hiding behind the tree!!!!

About another hour of work.

Antique doorway... loved the shadows .. looks like a jacaranda tree?
21x19.7 [A4] duplex board + 2 coats of gesso.....have to tweak that spot under the flower pot....see Chester peeking through!!!! 2hrs +

Old shack Corrugated cardboard with 2 coats gesso 25.5 x 36 cm
Less than 2 hours..Oil pastels ...used some turps .. really needs a bit of tweaking... but won't have time with preperations for High Holidays ....so I posting now!!!! Chester waiting patiently by the door!!!

Thanks again Kay for the great references,,,,

Thanks for looking and commenting.
C&C most welcome
