WDE 07Sept- Mime- plus WIP of Blue Roofed House from Scatty's WDE

Hi guys, these are my paitings for this weekend.

Mime - I concentrated on the head/face. I painted the back of an old WC work with black acrylic and used it for this one. 6x4 acrylic on WC paper.



I started this middle of last week but up to now it is not yet finished! In keeping with Scatty's theme, I used the back of a bad painting hoping to paint a good one. I guess not. Will try to finish this tonight - or throw it away . 10x8 acrylic on "rubbish" WC paper.

Love the mime... so sensitive and expressive... castle is well worth finishing... love the variations of yellows.. really got that stucco texture!!!
