What I've been listening to lately, not much in the way of mellow! I am in a very energized state lately! Yeah!
Tommy Conwell, it has Walking on the Water and I'm Not Your Man on it, then I listened to one of his demos.
Machine Head - Deep Purple
Soap Opera - Kinks
Misfits - Kinks
All the best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes - Pete Townshend
Moondance - Van Morrison
Brian Setzer Orchestra, it has Jump Jive and Wail on it
Low Budget - Kinks
Elvis Costello, the one with Accidents Will Happen on it
John Mellencamp, The Best that I Can Do
Who's Next? Who
John Barleycorn Must Die - Is that Traffic? I get them mixed up, the personnel moved around so much
Layla and Other Love Songs, Derek and the Dominos, (Eric Clapton), specifically Bell Bottom Blues, one of my favorites.
Oh, and something by Clutch.
Sorry I can't remember the titles of all the cds. My hubby makes me copies and keeps the originals in their cases.

Thanks, Keith, yeah, that's the one. I love Chinese Eyes, too. Ummm, Talking Heads, that's fun, too.
I am happy b/c I can finally paint without having the t.v. on to distract me from that little voice I had that said, "You can't do this, this is stupid, am I doing this right?, etc." Now I can listen to music!

I'm boggled
Boy, you hearing people are really obsessive about your music...whats up with that?
As for me, music? Bah...a noise is a noise is a noise. It all makes no sense to me. The only thing that interests me about "music" is the lyrics. Good poetry and good cinematography in music videos are exciting. The ones that I can remember that I've liked are all of Eminem's music videos/lyrics (hes got some great writing) and Pink's "like a pill" I haven't been watching MTV lately so I dont know what the current crop of videos is like....
Thats my 2 cents.

In the past two weeks I've painted non-stop (for a change) and listened to a nice mix but favorites (recent) include:
Smooth (dance a little to warm up for painting)
Aerosmith
Pink Floyd
Beatles - Revolver and Abby Road (and a bit of White Album)
James Taylor when I'm tired of hopping around my studio like a crazy person --- mellow
Dave Matthews Band
Blondie and Donna Summers (to get moving again)
Collective Soul
Oasis
Newest additions I forgot I liked:
Kenny Loggins
Chicago
War
an eclectic mix for sure
