WDE-17-8-12--Peeking Through + MI
 
Thanks Susan for the great images this weekend... and for sending me higher res images!!!
Emmy peeking through...24x18 cm canvas board oil wet on wet [looks it]
Here is the under-painting drawn using oil pastels and turps
The oil painting about 2 hours give or take.....
Used a split primary palette.. and blacks and browns were chromatically mixed
have finished the tomatoe painting but its too dark to photograph so it will have to wait till Thrusday... grandma duties in between painting...

Carol, Lovely painting of the hiding pup. She's really cute here. From another grandmother, who's on call Friday this week  Wouldn't trade it for the world. |

Great feelings in this! I like the softness of the work, and what you have accomplished with the blanket esp. The pup has a sweet expression. Super job.
