This is wonderfully done, such a gentle feel to it too. Every detail is excellent and I admire the way you handled the water and reflections. How do you like using the Ampersand pastelbords, they happen to be my most favorite to paint on.

Thanks, Elaine. This was my first use of pastelboard and I must agree with you. I really liked the way it handled the acrylics and it seemed to keep the colors more brilliant and over-painting the grasses also seemed to work better for some reason (could be my imagination). I also lightly sanded it with 400 paper before use to remove a little of the tooth. Since it is only 1/8" and they don't make it with the thicker edges, I was curious how the large boards would handle on the easel? Any thoughts or experience on this?
