Srebrenica- a 5 panel tragedy

These 5x7 panels should be viewed left to right to tell the story of one family's tragedy. In 1995 a Serb paramilitary group called the Scorpions rounded up approximately 8000 Bosnian Muslims and executed them. Many were blindfolded with their hands bound behind their backs. In 1996 forensics teams exhumed the mass graves. In the story below the remains of this young man are found with a bullet to the skull. His grieving mother is comforted by her husband as their son is buried. She is then seen grieving over his grave trying to find closure.
