searching for bracelet findings

OK... I'm at my wits end, and don't know what they're called... but I can describe them.

Picture little sterling box shaped pads, maybe 1/2" square, linked by little circles []o[]o[]o[]o[]o[] they form a platform to adhere things to... and form a bracelet or necklace - depending on the length... they're usually sold by the foot.

In the military - often times as a welcome gift, the wife is presented with a "button bracelet" - where military uniform buttons or small crests from places that they've been stationed are glued to these pads...

I've temporarily *I hope* lost my Rio Grande catalog, I have heard they're in there... does anyone else know a source? I'd prefer the sterling... and just hope someone out there knows where I can buy this.

thanks all!!

Jill -

I have a 2001 RG catalogue in my office. The sterling bracelet with flat discs linked by rings is #632-441/7; by the foot, it is #632-441/B. In the catalogue, it is called "Sterling Round Ring and Connector." There weren't any with box-shaped pads, but the round ones look like what you need.

With the numbers, you oughta be able to find it on their website.

Wasn't there something similar to that in the Burgard catalog? I though I saw a bracelet linked with boxes you could glue fused glass to. No? Check Burgard. Maybe you can still get in the the bulk buy. Not sure if it's silver though.

I have the new RG catalog, want me to look to see if they have square this time?
