Landscape from my head

I was looking for a reference on abstract landscapes... couldn't find it, so I went with what I remember of the advice
- layering contrasting tones and values. 16X 20" acrylic. About half brushwork, half knife. C&C welcome

Hi Rob,
I like the colors you've used here and the thick textures. I don't know much about abstract landscape work so I couldn't give any advice. Looks cool though!
