Yup, it is Peter. Kangaroo Express is a southern US chain of convenience stores.

Actually the birds on the beach could likely also go under A as they look like Avocets. Likewise for this Brick chimney. I could recycle it tomorrow.

I dunno, Peter ... I don't see the zebra markings (black and white) of the Avocet on them. How about Greater Yellowlegs? They are mottled on the flanks and undersides like the ones in Ruth's pic.
