Hi All! Haven't been here in forever - I need to take a look around and see what you all have been creating...Here's my latest - "Loon on Cold Rain Pond", taken in Naples, Maine. As always, C&C's welcome!

Very Nice!!! I've been trying to do painterly impressionistic shots like this lately. Not easy.

Thanks so much Everyone! I took this shot from the bow of our canoe during a quiet paddle around the pond. We were trout fishing, too - guess the loon ate them all, though

I have to say I'm totally in love with this photograph. It's gorgeous!!! The clear razor thin horizon line leading to the the shore and tree line on the right straight to the reflection and the loon and back again- my GOD ! - I have it scotch taped to my wall for inspiration. Thank you!!!
