WDE 08/05/2012 Warcop Gateway

Pastels on sanded paper 14X18 3 hours. It needs something..........not sure what.

It looks pretty good to me as is - but maybe you could add some shadows to one side of the gate posts and a bit of lighter grey blue on the distant trees to create recession - just a thought.

Well done grass and sun. Trees need more variety of color and form perhaps.

Excellent advise. I think I will give it a go. Also advise from Paulafv on more variety of form on the trees. I think it is worth working on some more.

I think it needs more shadows on the pillads of the fence trees are casting their shdow the fence should too the last big tree should be a litle paler and bluer be carefu one of its branch goes over the double treewich is closer to us I thinkk a little more pale blue or violet in the bg trees will help the aerial perspective you already have some good advices
