Land Camera X

I am really torn between the "painterly" and the "Realistic". This might be a solution:

Acrylic on watercolor paper. 14x17.
Cheers, DEREK

I like this alot. The pine cones and camera are very realistic.

Re: Land Camera X

This is the second time I've been suckered on WC, but at my first glance, I thought the framed element was the work, and I was liking the style of that a lot. Then I scrolled the rest of the way down and re-read the title. The entire thing is just awesome

Re: Land Camera X

aha ... so this is where you've been

Really nice work - and I see the struggle between realistic and painterly.

I actually wasn't spying on you, I really wanted to see if anyone here was working in acrylic inks. So off to the search

Re: Land Camera X

Hey Kat:
Nice to see you here. Yes this one has been in acrylics, landscape, and even still-life forum.
Thanks. Good luck with the inks. I do enjoy them but I have not done anything final with them.

Derek
