Re: Weeders Monthly Chat August 2012
Thanks for starting us off this month Guilli - and lovely pic of Weymouth too.
Aren't the sailing, rowing and cycling peeps doing well? Exciting to watch ... in fact, good job it's raining here today cos I'm all set to work outside but can't .... watched gold and silver medals being won instead
There's nothing else as good as fish and chips out of paper, down at the seafront either - yummy!

Hi all! That looks great, Guilli! No Olympics for me. Work is still dominating my time, in fact... as I type this, I'm cutting vinyl for 13 signs that have to go out today that the client just ordered late this morning! As soon as the cutter is done, I'll be glued to the work table. Eufaula Police just called and Checotah police are coming today for me to bid on doing all their cars. My oh my. Life in the fast lane.
Have a great day everybody! There's fresh coffee on, so grab a cup.

Hi all Looks like everyone is busy watching the olympics - except Beth Sounded like great fun Guilli but pity about the yacht. I hope some of you have time for my wde this weekend
I just wanted to share my success. I put some of my pics into a local store and sold these two in the last 2 days. One was my portrait from Li's wde - thought that wouldn't sell but just use it as an example for possible portraits. Who would have thought - beginners luck I guess.

Guilli, love the boats. Beth, and everyone else, a thought from my niece... you've all heard the grass is greener saying.... chatting this weekend before leaving Spider Lake she said "the grass is greener where it's watered." Isn't that the truth. Ros, good for you. Vicki, I want some of those fresh veggies! Hi to the rest of you. I'm back and rested. Haven't seen my grandson for more than 10 minutes in the past three weeks and he's due here soon so I'll be busy playing all day. Back later.

Re: Weeders Monthly Chat August 2012
vikki, yum garden veggies! peas are done, fresh beans and cucs here, my friend brought me some beets too.
the apples from my tree are now in pies (have made about 15 of them this yr) am appled out, so the birds can have the rest.
been sick this wknd, (gift from DH) AND my computer bit the dust, so had to get another and reload everything yesterday, almost have it all back. this of course is the icing on the cake, after my dryer quit last week (new washer and drier now installed) and my coffeemaker died (also new coffeemaker) and we won't talk about the power head on my vaccuum (my friend took it home to see if he could fix it) hmm what else can break now?
haven't felt much like painting this wknd (been busy with DH 60th b'day, company, broken 'puter and bad head cold) but will take myself down to the studio today , I am hosting the Landscape challenge for Aug, so should do a few of my own refs.

Take care of yourself. We don't want you to have any broken bones to add to your collection of broken items around the house.
