Good Morning all,
It is 6:15 a.m. here in just turning light Ohio. Everyone is sleeping 'cept me.
The kids had a wonderful time at King's Island for two days. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, Quinn walked into a coffee table leg with bare feet and badly bruised (we don't think it is broken) his little toe so he had a hard time walking very much. He did enjoy swimming in the pools though.
I was going to take them to
Carillon Historic Park today which is a wonderful place that showcases Dayton history and all the inventors and inventions that have come from here. They even have the original Wright Brothers Wright-B Flyer airplane! But, since Quinn's toe is still very sore, we'll have to put it off until their next visit.
So, this morning we'll have a cooking lesson. Chrissy wants to learn how to make stuffed artichokes the way I do it. So, I might as well let her help me and see how much fun (aka work) it is.
Bev, You weed killer, you!

what a great way to work out your anger instead of pummeling your neighbor. Sorry about your new car though.
Seems as if new cars amongst us here in the Wash suffer a lot. Our new car was only a couple of months old when a neighbor's friend backed out of her driveway right into our rear door.

The whole door had to be replaced, which was paid for by her insurance company with no problem, but I wish it hadn't been necessary at all.
Doug, I love that photo and the wonderful colors in it. If I paint it again, I'll probably crop it and concentrate on the leaves and smaller cluster of grapes rather than the grapes on the left.
Geoff, Are you going to smash a bottle of wine on the corner of your new building once it is finished today????
Jana, Ouch, that sounds like a hard exercise session. I'm surprised the therapist made you hurt like that. When my DH broke his wrist and we had to go to physical therapy and then when I had to do pt at home, the therapist told me to make sure I worked the arm hard but "not to the point of pain" because that wasn't good. Anyway, I hope these sessions relieve your back pain, it must be terrible trying to live a normal life with constant pain like that.
Lulu,

on your getting the Gold! I agree with the others that you look really great...no matter what age. Your active life style and mental liveliness go a long way to make that happen.
Annie, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about today.

Hope you get the problem with your iPad worked out, whatever it is.

to all who are on their way.
SYL,
Sylvia
