Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Amanda twice

Haven't had much time to practice lately but was able to get to the Monday night group yesterday.
The drawing was about an hour's work. Had a difficult time with the legs - a weird angle for me. I think the head's a bit small (again!) but I think I can make it a little larger if I want.
The painting was quick. There are some things I'll change in that to see if I can get it looking better.
Any and all critiques, comments, commendations and condemnations appreicated as always. Now I have to go take a look at everyone's work - I've not visited in a long time.

Re: Amanda twice

The head seems ok to me. Nice job on tough angle.

Re: Amanda twice

A tricky pose for the first one. I think the head size is ok. Not sure about the length of the thighs- but you were there.
The painting looks good- nice colours.

Re: Amanda twice

Good stuff, Mike! A pleasure to see the watercolor again. I like the pencil drawing too, I think you captured her erect posture well.

Re: Amanda twice

Some nice work here, Mike. I think that part of the problem in the first picture may be this: follow the centre line down between the breasts and down past the navel and the line comes down on top of the leg - so in fact the root of the thigh should be slightly further over giving more of an appearance of length. I may be right or wrong but it gives time to try to solve some problems. Ady
