From what I can see this really looks great, but you need a better picture so we can better see it.

Nicely done and your tree stands out as the feature Would like to see some reflective light on the left side of the tree, as the sun is so beautifully bright. You may wish to consider some leaves scattered here and there as the line separating them from the grass right now seems a bit strongly defined.

If you go to GIMP.org they have free software (totally virus free - I have used it for years) and it does photoshoppee things like turning piccies around etc. I like your work. Good light catch.

Re: Autumn Grandeur

It is a lovely painting, but I agree that a little light on the edge of the tree where the light is coming from and the clean line separating the foreground from the mid ground could be broken up slightly with variation in outline, colour and maybe by using leaves as suggested. Otherwise it is a beautifully sunny and bright work, quite dazzling! Great use of light, very happy painting. Cheers =)) Debs.

Re: Autumn Grandeur

Looking really good. Love the structure of the tree, and strong highlights and autum colours. My only crit would be to make the darks/shaddow a bit darker. Arnie

Re: Autumn Grandeur

Its evident to me you have a good insight as what a ''good painting'' should have. Your color is good if you want to maximize it add complementary colors.......Also dont forget about texture it can add a life like quality that would add alot of alluring appeal to this subject alone. Also remember that tones in your background shouldnt exceed 5 on the value scale i think your is close to 8. this is where complements come in handy
This advice is by no means a definitive ''way'' in wich to express your self, just advice. I think your on your way have a good one!
