Another gorgeous painting..and I loved Hanalei and the song Hanalei Moon now you have me humming it..haha Did know Puff the Magic Dragon lived by the bay... Very sensuous coloring, very appealing, you are awesome!!
Your other is stunning as well, beautiful place for sure I'd love to go back.

Elaine - Thank you so much. I was born in Kauai, though we moved to California when I was only 12. Have spent almost every summer for the past 58 years going back to visit family and experiencing the aloha spirit. I'm so glad that you had a chance to spend time there. "Hanalei Moon" is my wife's and my favorite piece of Hawaiian Music. It was played for our wedding.

Ron, your art is stunning! This orange beauty is the loveliest ever, and your landscape is awesome. Definitely remember the words and lyrics to that song
by Peter, Paul and Mary even though was only 10 years old then...always wondered if it was about drugs but hope not. And I've been to that spot you've painted here, just gorgeous.

Beautiful hibiscus.

I guess I should know that Puff was from the Land of Hanalei. My son played that over and over. And over when he was about 10 years old. Cannot remember the singers, but I seem to recall the Smothers Brothers.
