Looking Up
I was laying out in the backyard with the boys the other day and I had to get a shot of the view.

...looking up at fast moving clouds makes me DIZZY!
Nice shot, your got there, Vega! But I think just the idea of laying on the ground doing NOTHING but watching is what intriques me most about this shot. (That's a real luxury for me these days. )
Thanks for sharing!!

I love it when the sky does that.... it's like you're looking at the bottom of the ocean.

My sentiments exactly!
Whats that old saying "blue and green should never be seen together"......
I never heard anything like that! I think all colors go together when done right-check out gardens! IMHO!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I will be keeping this picture around for when it has been raining for 3 months straight and I have forgotten what the sky looks like (other than dark gray).

Looks like you could just reach right out and touch them - and they would feel like cotton balls. Can't think of anything better to be doing on such a beautiful day.

I think that's what they call (in England anyway) a mackeral sky,
very lovely ~ btw I believe that lying on the ground looking up is a valid form of excercise

Around here not only is it excercise, but it counts as school work too!
Thanks everyone for the comments. We don't often see a sky like that around here. It is usually overcast (and raining) or perfectly clear (and very windy!). More often #2 this time of year.
I need to choose 4 photos for an abstract photo submission at my photography club. Do you think that this too obvious (as in not abstract enough)?

If abstract means identifiable, then you're going to have to look for another one, I think.

I agree, now, but before coffee this morning it looked pretty abstract I am going to go walk around downtown today and see what I come up with.
