This piece shows a positive development over your earlier work. Though the nod to the Impressionists is very clear continued painting in this vein should push you past that style into something original and fresh. Keep at it!

The only other thing I can add to what's
already been said:
I love that I can see some knife strokes
here and there. That tells me the texture
is there,,,and I can imagine how it feels.
And it feels great.
