Only painting I have finished in ages

Hello everyone

to introduce myself and get into the WetCanvas habit again, here is just about the only thing I have produced in several years. It's very recent, so here's hoping....

I also hope to get resizing etc sorted. But that's enough for this evening.

Thank you all for your comments on my rose painting. The actual piece isn't that much bigger than what you see here and is painted on Arches Rough paper (my favourite) in watercolour. Really looking forward to getting involved here now that I have more time on my hands.

Beautiful rose and lovely background. It's easy to re-size in Picasa, a free download from Google. You set the size for printing and email and it stays for the paintings.

Your posted size is perfect and it's a stunning painting. Any smaller and we couldn't appreciate all the beautiful and delicate touches and there are certainly those to appreciate. Well done and by all means get busy with those brushes you rock!!
