Re: Scavenger Hunt #274 - June 30 - July 8

Love the sketches and paintings posted - thanks for the feedback

FYI - Never used the marble rolling pin for baking - reason I got it was because I had a problem with my right foot (plantar facitis sp?) - a painful condition and had to go for Physical Therapy - it was suggested that I use a rolling pin. Put rolling pin on the floor and roll my foot on it back and forth - stretches the tendons, etc to helped them to heal - the cool marble was perfect for it - picked it up at a second hand store. Fortunately my foot is ok for now.

J - Thanks again for hosting this time.

Jeanne, "J", thanks so much for the Hunt. The sketches are mah-va-lous. Hope all are doing swell. We are off for the start of summer (for us). Headed to Alaska in the a.m. Will be in touch down the road. We had a great birthday celebration on Saturday for our firecracker daughter. Gene made brisket and we went to the fireworks after. They have them here after the 4th so the Austin Symphony can come play. They have about 15 minutes of fireworks which is great for a small town. You get to be close and personal with the Symphonic Band and visit friends. Perfect! More down the road.

Tresgatos - Thanks for the idea for my marble rolling pin! My doctor suggested picking up marbles with my toes but I like your idea better.
Irwin - I really like your sketch. You look like a man on a mission
Hanneke - Greetings and welcome! I just started posting here and find it's a very friendly group. Your pen and ink sketches really capture the form. It's hard for me to draw without being able to erase and correct.
"J" - Your drawings make me think you really enjoy the process. I've never heard of "zentangling" something. That's an intriguing idea.
Eye - Cool T-shirt and model (who seems to appear quite often in your drawings)
Eyepaint - Great drawings!
