Question Draft of Photoshop tutorial: Digital Coloring

http://www.pixelscapes.com/tutorials/color/

Take a look and let me know what you think. I'm contemplating this as an eventual WetCanvas article. (part 1 of 2)

Right now, the tutorial is ALL on one really long page, which may make it slow to load... but I appreciate your patience and your suggestions. I want to make sure the tutorial is really clear and fairly easy to follow.

And yes, I know the girl in the pic I'm coloring is very cartoony. I'm not heavily into realism...

Last but not least, I know I haven't been around here much lately. I'll try and take a look at the posts I missed over the next few days and see if I have any comments for people seeking 'em.

Thumbs up

Thanks for creating/posting the tutorial. It answered some questions for me. I could never figure out how the lip textures were created. I like the technique with the eyes, also. So many new things to try, so little time to try them

Glad it's helping somebody.

And do let me know if you use some of these techniques, I would LOVE to see the results!

Ohh nice tutorial, I love the idea for the eyes and lips, I normally just paint in all the highlights and colours, this seems easier and looks just as effective! Very cool!
