Re: Malicious Malware notice

It appears to be detected by Avast anti virus software only.

Re: Malicious Malware notice

Okey dokey... I've excluded Wetcanvas from my virus protection, but I'd like to get a nice warm feeling that something is being done to resolve the issue...

Just because Avast is the only affected programme shouldn't minimize the impact... a LOT of people use this software!

Re: Malicious Malware notice

The techs are checking the site for any malware contamination on our end that could be responsible for the issues with those 2 particular anti-virus programs. If there's an issue on our end, we'll fix it.

If they find there is no malware issue on our end, then it's up to those 2 anti-virus programs' creators to fix the issue on their end.

Until then, we recommend that affected users try a different anti-virus program — like Norton or McAfee, which are industry standards & well known/respected here in the US.

Re: Malicious Malware notice

A few days ago while using wet canvas and dickblick I got a problem with my windows freezing, I posted about it in the tech forum, no answer. I lost a 200 page file, then did get half back. Another group gave me some ideas, and now I have a problem with wetcanvas loading really slowly. Dobn't know if it's related or not, just that the problems started while I had a few wetcanvas windows open and a few dick blick.

Re: Malicious Malware notice

Wetcanvas does seem to be a little slow today. Once the browser connects it loads quickly.

Re: FIXED: Malicious Malware notice

I had avast go off a couple of days ago, but can't remember where. It was only once and I forgot about it until I saw this thread. If it happens again I'll come back here.
