A few pen & ink pieces...

Here are some pages from my sketchbook. I posted them in the Drawing section & some folks were kind enough to point me toward this forum. So here you go.

Awsome linework Andrew. You are very good at using different strokes to get a specific look. Not easily done. The old mans face is just so deep. Excellant. Welcom to the P/I forum then.

Bob

Thanks!

BTW, I'm JM (Jayemm, the forum wouldn't let me have a two character name), The guy in the first drawing is Andrew (Wyeth). Understandable mistake.

AWESOME INKS JM!!! I saw the two portraits in the Drawing forum. Thanks for stopping by and posting them here too Really like how you use short strokes for your shading! Your drawings have an illustrative look to them Hope to see more of your ink works in the near future

great works! i like best the first one, very charming idea the face close-up, allowing no contour to the face.

ciao, rapolina.

You have such a good style in your pen work. The portraits are very lively looking. I especially like the 1st one. Old peoples faces fascinate me. Thank you for sharing these with us. Now that you know we are here I am hoping to see you post more in P&I
