Question Floor Looms...


Anyone in the Fiber forum with a floor loom?

By sheer luck I got a 4 harness, 6 pedal floor loom for free from a fiber artist, but have no earthly idea how to set it up...

If anyone has some expertise in this area and can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome!

Hi Iris
According to my friend, a professional weaver,this this is not possible through a thread because how complicated it is. She recommends a help from a weaver to set the loom up and make it ready to use. But the best think is if you can find a course in weaving to sign on to. The weaving process it self is relatively simple but to get there is complicated.

Yes Pink, you will need to find a weaving teacher or a weaver's guild in your area and arrange a few lessons. How lucky you were to get a free loom!
