Hello everyone, long time no see. It's been a while since I've drawn anything, busy with other things, but some hand drawings always seem to get me back in the mood. Thanks for letting me share.

Hi EP..Thx! Yes Hanks is a Porty..we actually got him about 6 months before President Obama got theirs..I was going to drop him a line when I heard he was considering one..at that time Hanks was a Chew-a -holic..and I wanted to warn him he sure has mellowed though..yes his coat is super soft! I recommend the breed to anyone..It was Haddock fillets on the BBQ they weren't too tasty though

Irwin - Thanks. Yes, that's a perfume bottle. I have a tall one and this shorter one. Great job on the bbq....what's cookin? Glad you have a "refreshing" beverage to sip while you cook and read.

EP - Thanks. To get more practice drawing directly in pen I joined a 75 Days challenge on Flickr. I must be a glutton for punishment. lol Good shoe and seated figure. I like how the bleed adds color to the bench. Nice 2 page landscape.

Paul - Thanks. Are you surviving our east coast heat wave? I went out to sketch with a group Wednesday night and it was still hot and the beach was crowded. Good job on the GPS...where's it taking us? Nice mannekin.

Joan: Thanks ... too funny.... yes, surviving the heat, it is in the lower 90s today and it was up close to 100 here yesterday.... I drew the GPS on my way back from Montreal with my son... it was 95 there --- not a heat fan (Miami included)... great sketches by the way love the color purple and pinks very nice
