WDE 8 June- Too much! (pen/wash cat)

Many thanks for the great photos this weekend!!

I did this quick study in pen&wash of the cat pose (before the larger crop was available)....but I see I cropped to the same!

It was lovely to sit and paint a sunny scene whilst it is grey and drizzley outside. I watched Shrek whilst waiting for the ink to dry before the colour layers in watercolour.

I may fit in more work over the weekend since I had a nice early start.






Managed to fit in a preliminary wash study of the little girl this morning. 6 by 8 ins. I may do the girl again in a larger size etc., later...that's my plan anyway. Probably not until the end of the week though
