Ah Wonderful pictorial! I love the Mission in the first pic-the colors of it & the palm are wonderful against that true blue sky! Looks like they do get the best artists working on it Will you post a finished pic please? I love the pics and the chalk bins !!!!!

I always love to watch the street painters. I have never seen so many in one place. This must have bee so wonderful to go to. Nice job in capturing the fun and show us some great art. Now how come you were not doing a street painting, or did you?

Is that where everyone paints a picture of an Italian street?

Seriously, this is really something - just look at the work they are putting into it. Your have really captured the event and your photos are works of art in themselves.

WOW

Geck these are fantastic! Such wonderful work. This is an eye opener for me as I've never seen nor heard of this before. I expected that there were going to be a bunch of people creating paintings like in a craft fair, except they'd be doing it on a street

I take it these were created with chalk and they will not last? Must've been a big treat to see all those talented people working on a project together.

Ozzie

I heard someone did the Cistine Chapel ceiling on the street, too.
How long do the paintings stay there?
